NEC's 2180UX has a 21.3" screen and looks much more imposing than 20.1" models. There's no USB hub, but you can rotate the panel into portrait mode with an ease that belies its weight.

The slim bezel and no-nonsense stand look professional, and this impression is confirmed when the screen is turned on. The extra inch might be an expensive investment, but in terms of image quality the NEC is irreproachable. It produced a perfectly smooth transition in our greyscale tests. Its colour reproduction can be customised, but the default settings couldn't be bettered. There is little between the two largest screens here, but the MultiSync 2180UX has a fractionally better picture than Iiyama's ProLite H2130.
