LabsLCD Monitor price test 2006
LG's Flatron L2013P is one of four 20.1" displays in this test. Its bezel and buttons bear a striking resemblance to those of the LaCie photon20vision II reviewed in our LCD Labs, Shopper June 2005, but the LG costs £100 less and its stand is different. The heavy panel is easy to rotate into portrait mode, but its two-stage height adjustment is a bit clunky. Strangely, when using a DVI input the only colour correction options available are those of Light View, a system that provides fixed day and night settings for text, movies and photo work. This lack of direct colour control is disappointing in a professional monitor, and the default colour setting produced slightly discoloured whites. At this price, we expect more control and better image quality. SPECIFICATIONS:
