At only £348, AOC's LM2028 is cheaper than some of the 19" screens in this group. Its 20.1" panel has a native resolution of 1,600x1,200 and on paper it is the equal of the 20.1" LG and Sony screens. Adjustment options have been sacrificed to keep the price down, though: vertical adjustment is minimal, so you may have trouble finding a comfortable viewing position. The LM2028 produced a decent image. On its default setting, whites weren't as true as we'd like, but the colour balance was generally accurate. Our greyscale tests showed a smooth transition.
Its image quality isn't quite as good as that of the other 20.1" monitors, but the LM2028 is a decent screen at a great price. Unless you need perfect colour accuracy, it's a bargain.
