LabsLCD Monitor price test 2006
LG's wafer-thin L1980Q is supported by a clever arm that provides an impressive range of movement; it can fold flat to the desk and rotate 90 degrees into portrait mode. It has an external power supply and all cables feed into the base, which also houses the wall mount. The control buttons are touch sensitive. This may sound a good idea, but in practice the buttons were incredibly frustrating to use. Sadly the picture quality didn't live up to these designer aspirations. Colours were bright and loud, but the picture lacked definition in both light and dark areas. Skin tones looked cold and washed out. It might look nice on a reception desk, but the L1980Q doesn't produce a good enough image. SPECIFICATIONS:
