LabsLCD Monitor price test 2006
The control buttons, USB port and headphone jack are all hidden on the right edge of Iiyama's ProLite X486S; only the power management motion sensor and ambient light sensor break the classy matte metallic surround. The panel's hinge allows only for tilt adjustment, though, so you may have to sit it on a few copies of Computer Shopper to find eye level. The X486S produced a reliable image. Colours were accurate with warm skin tones. Greyscales were smooth and linear but when we used the DVI input with the brightness set to maximum we saw some banded interference in dark areas. Like most 19" LCDs here, its 8ms response time ensures blur-free gaming. If you can forgive the slight interference in DVI mode, this is an excellent 19" screen. SPECIFICATIONS:
1,280x1,024 native resolution, D-sub, DVI, speakers, one-port USB Sponsored Links
