Goodmans has been selling consumer electronics gear in the UK for as long as anyone in the PC Pro office can remember.

But it's no longer just producing radios and cheap TVs.

Nowadays products such as the snappily named GWF101IP internet radio are the order of the day, and that's no bad thing.

It's not pretty, but build quality is solid, sound quality bright and clear and the controls - with an analogue-style radio dial on top of the box - make navigation of the thousands of internet radio stations a doddle.

We also love the fact that it works out of the box with the BBC on-demand Listen Again services.

Throw in a fifth generation-compatible iPod dock and compatibility with UPnP network media servers and you have, minor niggles aside, a surprisingly sound product.
