They may come packaged with a Bluetooth transmitter designed to work with Apple's iPod range, but Zoom's iHifi wire-free headphones will also work with any player or smartphone with A2DP Bluetooth built in. We hooked them up to a Samsung T10 MP3 player and an HTC TyTN II and, while sound quality was moderately good, the signal was far from stable, with playback plagued by drop-outs and frequent interruptions. The wraparound headphones are uncomfortable too, and the plasticky controls don't inspire confidence. Opinion in the office was unanimous: we wouldn't wear these out and about - there are better ways to spend £35. By Mike Jennings Sponsored Links
