The discount isn't quite as impressive as the Office deal, with retailers selling the Vista Upgrade for around £150.
Visio Professional 2007 will also be offered for £36.95, while the slightly less impressive Office Languages Pack 2007 will cost students a mere tenner.
The offer is only open to "students and staff who attend or are employed at an educational institution geographically located in the United Kingdom, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man."
Microsoft accepts a valid email address from various .ac domains as proof of eligibility, although it reserves the right to make further checks on an applicant's credentials.
