And that's not even the half of it, according to USB hardware-maker Huawei. "Huawei is planning to launch the HSPA+ device, which will support downlink speed of up to 28.8Mb/sec and uplink speed of up to 11Mb/sec," a company spokesman told us. "The speed of mobile broadband and ADSL is improving, and mobile broadband creates a better user experience. The operational costs of HSPA services are decreasing, which also presents the opportunity to bring mobile broadband to the mass market."
For now mobile broadband is a great accompaniment to your home broadband connection - tomorrow it could be a replacement.
